Sick boys and messed up again

OK,
So this isn't as bad as being a wee late picking up Aidan but again I messed up. We've been talking for weeks about Riley's assessment at the school and on Friday "we" or "I" totally forgot about it until Oma asked how it went! In "our" or "my" defense we would have had to cancel as both boys were fighting separate illnesses but as Jess mentioned I should have called at least. So I walked into the office with my look of shame and told them the story to which they said "well if you've got no big concerns we'll do the assessment in September". I told them he is a superstar and could really skip Kindergarten and go straight to grade one ;)
