Summer should be 6mths long!
I just can't believe how fast it went by, I know we were busy but c'mon we needed a few more weeks. And of course the first week back for the kids turned out to be one of the hottest all summer!
Aidan and Riley are both excited about school and are enjoying there teachers. Here is a list of some comments from our first couple of weeks.
Riley
"I'll we do is play games and eat!" (heck I want to go back to school)
"Ah, can I go everyday like Aidan" (Let's see how long that lasts)
"I wish I could have more computer time" (Aspiring software geek, gotta love it)
Aidan
"We didn't even do any work today" (Thinking this is a Jedi teacher mind trick)
"I got some candies and if we get enough points we get a Slurpee!" (This behaviour motivator could work on me)

Its amazing how quickly the summer goes... and that little feeling of sadness that overcomes you on the first day of school, never quite goes away... :(
